We weare pleased to inform you that BIF conference on Digital Infrastructure for Transforming India was concluded successfully 6th December 2018 at Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi . The Conference was organised in partnership with ADBI Japan and ICRIER, it was attended by more than 150 professionals.
Sundararajan said that USD 100 billion dollar sectoral investment enshrined in the national digital communications policy is not an over-estimate and may well turn out to be less-than-adequate in the wake of new age technologies and advent of 5G.
This paper was originally presented at the Broadband India Forum Workshop on “Acceleration of Broadband in India: Complementing OFC with Wireless Fiber” on 9th November, 2016. This revision reflects global developments in the V-band eco-system and technology since 2016. While the basic recommendations stand – full de-licensing without channelization – we provide refinements and additional supporting evidence based on recent progress at IEEE, Wi-Fi Alliance, ETSI and CEPT and learnings from field trials, academia and industry alliances.
V Band,New Delhi, 31 May, 2018: Broadband India Forum (BIF) today announced the releaseof a White Paper that recommends the adoption of V band (60 GHz) to enable quicker and more affordable rollout of high quality broadband across the country. The White Paper was released by Shri N Sivasailam, Special Secretary Telecom, Government of India.
